Getting Here

The Forge is a unique creative space in the heart of Bristol’s Arts Quarter but can be a little

tricky to find!

The full address is: The Forge, Colston Yard (off Colston Street), Bristol, BS1 5BD

On foot

The Forge is on Colston Yard (a little cobbled lane) - just off Colston Street. If you look for the lane between the Bike Workshop and Blaze you’ve hit the jackpot! We’ll have a BIG Sunday & Soul sign outside too so you know you’re in the right place.

Bicycle and e-scooter

Bicycle racks are available on Trenchard street, Colston Street, and on the city centre promenade. You can leave them outside The Forge but you do so at your own risk as we won’t have any room inside the venue to store any bikes. If you plan on using a Voi e-scooter they’re available for hop-on hop-off short term rental across Bristol and there are designated e-scooter parking areas nearby. Please check the Voi app for the latest information.

There are several bus stops nearby either on Upper Maudlin Street (outside the hospital) or just down from the Bristol Beacon on Rupert Street (The Centre C9 stop) where most bus services stop.

Bristol Temple Meads is the nearest train station and The Forge is a pleasant 1 mile stroll - hopefully in the sunshine! The most direct route to us from the station is via Queen Square. For information on train services visit National Rail Enquiries.

If you come by car - please try and car share where possible!

Via M5: Exit junction 18, follow A4 (Portway) to the centre. Follow signs for the city centre.

Via M4: Exit junction 19 (M32). Follow signs to Clifton and turn left down Colston Street.

Please note - there are currently temporary traffic lights on Colston Street and upper Trenchard Street is closed.

Car parking

The nearest car park is Trenchard street multi-storey or there is some on-street parking on Colston Street and Upper Maudlin Street but spaces can’t be guaranteed.

The Forge is fully accessible to wheelchair users. If you have any access concerns please contact us in advance or let one of the Sunday & Soul team know when you arrive.
